This past December 29th, 2023, marked a memorable day at GAES as we hosted a delightful New Year celebration at our hangar facility, especially for the children of our staff. It was a day filled with excitement, joy, and learning for 40 young minds, aged between 5 to 14 years.
Our aim was not just to celebrate the festive season, but to foster a connection between the world of aviation and these young, curious minds. We believe in passing on the passion for aviation from one generation to the next, and what better way to do this than through an interactive experience in our very own hangar?
The children, full of energy and enthusiasm, explored the world of aviation up close. They got a glimpse into what their parents do at GAES and learned about the wonders of flight and aircraft maintenance. The hangar was abuzz with their laughter and awe as they engaged in various fun and educational activities.
This event was more than just a celebration; it was an opportunity to ignite a spark in the hearts of future aviators. As we watched the children's eyes light up with curiosity and wonder, we were reminded of the importance of nurturing their interest in this field.
